  Clean Room Assembly

Pratt & Whitney Rocketdyne has established the Space Propulsion Assembly Center of Excellence (SPACE) to provide a unique capability for our customers. SPACE is an assembly manufacturing workcenter created to support experimental, developmental, engineering and manufacturing development, low rate initial production, pre-production and production tasks. This area has been designed and aligned to support lean manufacturing techniques throughout a program's life-cycle. SPACE supports programs from proposal activity through flight-testing and deployment. This area is unique because it contains a wide variety of assembly, inspection, and test equipment all within the clean room.
